- Do not overdose. Copper can be toxic if levels exceed 0.8 mg/L.
- Avoid use with invertebrates such as shrimp, snails, or corals.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.

- Remove all invertebrates before treatment. Do not use with scaleless fish unless carefully monitored.
- Use 1 mL of Cupramine per 10.5 gallons (40 L) of water for the first dose. Wait 48 hours, then repeat the dose to reach 0.5 mg/L copper.
- Monitor copper levels with a reliable test kit during treatment.
- Maintain treatment for 14 days while keeping copper concentration stable.
- After treatment, remove Cupramine with carbon or Cuprisorb and perform a partial water change.
