Seachem Laboratories Cupramine Copper Treatment 3.4-oz is made with a stabilized ionic copper solution bound to an amine complex for safe, long-lasting effectiveness and easy removal after treatment.

  • Do not overdose. Copper can be toxic if levels exceed 0.8 mg/L.
  • Avoid use with invertebrates such as shrimp, snails, or corals.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.

Direction

  • Remove all invertebrates before treatment. Do not use with scaleless fish unless carefully monitored.
  • Use 1 mL of Cupramine per 10.5 gallons (40 L) of water for the first dose. Wait 48 hours, then repeat the dose to reach 0.5 mg/L copper.
  • Monitor copper levels with a reliable test kit during treatment.
  • Maintain treatment for 14 days while keeping copper concentration stable.
  • After treatment, remove Cupramine with carbon or Cuprisorb and perform a partial water change.
