  • Conduct as large a water change as practical or start with new water. Condition new water to remove chlorine, chloramines, and ammonia.

  • Treat for 5–7 days; repeat as needed, but not more than once every 3–5 days.
  • Monitor fish for cessation of scratching, flashing, and healing of lesions. Microscopic examination of feces can confirm success.
